• Minimum sale and delivery age is 21.

• Direct-to-consumer shipments must carry a specific “signature of a person age 21 or older required” label and require ID-checked adult signature at delivery.

Can you order vapes online in Connecticut?

Registered dealers shipping to Connecticut consumers must label packages and obtain the signature of a person 21 or older, who shows valid ID, at delivery.

Federal rules that apply everywhere

• Only e-cigarettes with an FDA marketing authorization may be lawfully sold in the United States. As of FDA’s August 28, 2026 update, that is 48 products from five manufacturers.
