The FDA says these are the only nicotine pouches that may be lawfully sold in the United States. The list comes from FDA’s page, which was current as of 2026-08-21. We last checked it on 2026-09-24.
“Authorized” doesn’t mean “approved” or “safe.” The FDA says these products are not safe or “FDA approved,” and that people who don’t use tobacco shouldn’t start.
Retailers also sell versions that aren’t on this list. Many stores carry other strengths and flavors, such as 1.5 mg or 8 mg ZYN, or other on! flavors. Our links go only to the exact authorized product.

What stands out
- The FDA authorized 20 ZYN pouches (10 flavors in 3 mg and 6 mg) on January 16, 2025. They were the first nicotine pouches it authorized.
- On June 30, 2026, the FDA issued modified risk orders for those same 20 ZYN products. That lets the manufacturer market them with an FDA-reviewed claim comparing them to cigarettes. It is the manufacturer’s claim to make. It isn’t ours, and it doesn’t mean the products are safe.
- The other authorized products are ZYN ULTRA (9 mg and 11 mg) and Helix’s on! and on! PLUS lines.
